Introducing the SEVEN Emblem T-Shirt — A Limited Edition Collaboration with Artist Rachel Louise Hodgson

We are thrilled to announce the limited edition release of our emblem T-shirt, co-created in collaboration with the incredibly talented artist @rachellou_h as part of our ongoing virtual artist residency series. Each piece in this series is a heartfelt dialogue between SEVEN and artists we love and admire—asking them to reinterpret the philosophy that shapes our brand.

For this special project, I commissioned Rachel to translate the symbolic universe of SEVEN into one singular illustration—a dreamlike, surreal, and layered illustration that captures the soul of the brand in one powerful image. Only a very small quantity of this edition has been made available.

🌀 The Emblem: Meaning & Symbolism

This illustration is more than an artwork—it’s an invitation. Inspired by the poetic paradoxes of Noguchi, the elastic and surreal time of Dalí, the symbolic ferocity of Picasso’s Guernica, and the joyful absurdity of Niki de Saint Phalle, this piece is designed to unsettle, reflect, and delight—all at once.

At the heart of the artwork lies a merged sun and moon, representing duality and coexistence—our light and our shadow, our angelic and mischievous sides. It’s the very essence of SEVEN: the eternal dance between opposing forcesthat shape who we are.

It explores balance: between feminine and masculine, day and night, emotion and reason. It also reflects my view of feminism—not as opposition, but as unity, where we evolve and thrive together.

You’ll find scattered eyes throughout the illustration—symbols of polysemy and perspective. The world may be objective, but truth is subjective, shaped by our history, emotions, and culture. No two gazes see the same thing.

Time, too, plays a central role. Not as currency—but as the most precious gift we have to offer. SEVEN calls us to slow down, to give time meaning, and to live with intention.

Flowing through the tapestry are oxymoronic phrases that express the spirit of SEVEN, in both French and English:

• folie lucide

• i love you terribly

• la vie c’est la mort aussi

• take pleasure seriously

• and the iconic quote inspired by Isamu Noguchi:
  “This feeling of always being torn from opposite ends, and being in revolt against one while finding support in the other.”
